While doing Kayla’s BBG, I have never felt the need to take any supplements.
There’s not a great variety of options supplement-wise here in Chile, and most of them are very expensive. I’ve tried different proteins but most of them have been whey protein and i’m lactose intolerant so I try to stay away from whey protein (learned that the hard way).
I guess whether or not you use protein/supplements depends on YOUR goals. At first, I had no interest in protein, but ever since I stopped eating meat, I need to increase my protein intake some way or another. I’m looking into finding the perfect vegan protein to help me with my goals.
So the answer to that question is .. Not yet. But I plan to.
