Peanut Butter Banana Toast

I have always kept my distance from peanut butter because I thought it wasn’t healthy. Little did I know how amazing and healthy (in moderation) it is!

“It has the enviable combination of fiber (2 g per serving) and protein (8 g per serving) that fills you up and keeps you feeling full longer, so you eat less overall. Plus, there’s nothing more indulgent than licking peanut butter off a spoon–and indulgence (in moderation) helps dieters fight cravings and stay on track.”  The Health Benefits of Peanut Butter – Prevention.com

So this is not really a recipe. It’s just me sharing one of my favorite morning meals:

Rye Toast with Peanut Butter and Bananas on top.

I usually just have one rye bread (or whole wheat bread) toasted, add a tablespoon of peanut butter, and some chopped bananas on top. Some people like adding some honey and cinnamon on top as well! Other people also add blueberries on top. Must try this out!

I like eating this with a Smoothie. Check out some of my Smoothie Ideas here!

  1. Hola,

Saludos

  2. Hello, I really like your blog and ig, it’s really nice and motivating to read your comments! And I don’t know if you’ll like it but in addition of the pb and bananas I put a little bit of lemon juice. It’s just 👌😘
