What you eat before and after a workout depends solely on you!
In my case, it all depends on the time.
If i’m going to workout in the morning and i’m in a hurry, I eat half a banana before my workout, and after my workout I eat the other half in either a smoothie or some other breakfast (like peanut butter banana toast).
If i’m working out in the morning but I have some time, I eat breakfast before the workout. I love to eat oatmeal porridge in the morning because it gives me huge amounts of energy!
If i’m working out in the afternoon, I try not to eat something too big before my workout. I never workout right after lunch. I try to workout after snack time! But I always give myself at least 20 minutes after eating something before working out! I hate working out on a full stomach! Hate feeling like all my food is going to come back up haha
On whether to eat before or after a workout.. Find what works best for you! I try to stick to my eating schedules (I eat every three hours) so I try not to snack right after a workout if it’s not necessary and if it’s not the right time.
