While in Orlando, I stayed with my cousin, who’s been a vegetarian for years now. This meant a week of vegetarian foods, and I wasn’t complaining. She took me to some pretty cool places, but the place I loved the most was Dandelion Communitea Cafe.
The food in this place is Local, Organic and Vegetarian! The menu is full of delicious choices. I seriously couldn’t pick just one thing! So my cousin and I ordered a burrito/wrap each, and we shared some spring rolls (my first spring rolls ever, did not disappoint!). My burrito had quinoa, sweet potatoes, avocado, corn, amongst other things I can’t remember. But seriously, it was one of the best burritos I’ve ever eaten!
I had some coconut water and she had some regular water (in a little mason jar – so cute).
Before I went to this coffee place, I had a bad perception of vegetarian places. I always felt like they would be boring. But ever since I’ve been eating more healthy things, and enjoying vegetables instead of hating them like I used to (I blame that on my teenage self haha), I’ve become way more open to trying new things.
I fell in love with this place! I spent 5 days in Orlando and went there twice. If I ever go to Orlando again, this will be the first place I go to. The food was anything but boring, the service was great, the music was nice, the place was beautiful.
It’s such a cute place on the outside and inside, and the people working there are extra nice! It really feels like a community.
So if happen to be in Downtown Orlando, don’t forget to visit this awesome cafe! Your mouth and your belly will thank you for it 😀
