    1. Hi I’m Robyn. I read all of your blog posts and I am so inspired and excited to start kaylas BBG you have really motivated me to start and not give up. I havery done week 1 like 7 times already and I keep giving up before week 2 has even started, I make excuses and then indulge in unhealthy foods and then I feel like shit all over again. I have recently reached my highest weight ever and I don’t even step on the scale anymore. I could leave you my email and then we could message or something because I need the motivation. Your blogs are on point and so true (you’re really funny by the way). Like you said about your cellulite that you felt self conscious about I have marks on my legs so I’m always wearing panty yose with everything I’m so self conscious that I don’t EVER wear shorts or go to the beach or anything of that sort. I need to do this BBG for myself and improve myself. You have really inspired and if I could say I love you I would but that’s weird haha, just wanted to sat thank you soooo much 😙😙😙

  1. Hey I was wondering if your transformation made you lose a lot of “breast” or not? Or is it just fat that goes away ? Your transformation is so good that it makes me want to do the kaila’s bbg after all this time just wondering if it was that good but I don’t want to lose any breast because I already don’t have that much haha xx thanks

    1. Hey maggie! Well, I’ve never had big boobs (or any boobs for that matter) to begin with. So I would say they got smaller, but I feel like they’re just as small as they’ve always been haha

    2. Hi Maggie! In general, working out and toning up will cause some form of weight loss and therefore fat loss. Unfortunately, one cannot choose where they want to loose fat from, so sometimes it is the breast, depending upon your body type. You may loose some breast if you have extra fat tissue – but that would happen with any type of weight loss program. I wouldn’t skip this incredible program just to keep your chest size. The benefits you will receive from this program outweighs your best size any day!

  3. Hola! I’m currently on week 3 but am not really seeing much of anything. Although some days I wake up feeling like there’s homage and others not so much at all. I was wondering if you would be willing to pose a food diary for maybe … a week 🙂 on your blog? I don’t follow the help guide but I have used it to shape what I do eat now. Overall I eat pretty healthy. ¡Mil gracias!

    1. Hi Annie!
That sucks! Hope you start seeing some progress soon. Remember slow progress is better than no progress.
Many people have asked me to post food diaries, but the problem is I don’t eat healthy 100% of the time. I have many treats and I don’t want to drive anyone into temptation 😦 but if you want, you can check out my recipes or my instagram, where i usually put one meal a day!

Ive always wondered if do you have stretch marks, and if you have any special treatment-rutine for your skin (i mean, as it changes a lot when your body changes) ive gained a lot of weight and with it a lot of stretch marks, and now im losing weight i think im getting more :c
    thanks a million, keep the good work c;

Yes, i have strech marks. It’s not something I like to talk about but i guess it’s time that i do!! I don’t hace any treatment routine at the moment but i’ve been thinking of buying some treatment cream because my strechmarks are pretty evident in my legs and hips 😦 i’ll write about it soon and let you know how it goes!

    1. Hi! There’s no secret to it really, just doing all types of resistance workouts that focus on all parts of your body. Full body workouts are very important! Sometimes we get to caught up on doing just legs or just abs, but we have to focus on all of our body! Good luck

  7. OMG why can’t this be me?!!! I followed Kayla’s guide up to week 7 and had to stop because I noticed I was gaining weight and getting fat. I gained 20 pounds. What was the reason? Not sure. People have been giving me comments about how fat or how much weight I’ve gained that I suddenly felt insecure. Maybe I wasn’t eating as healthy as I should have, maybe I wasn’t eating enough, I don’t know. I could have health issues, such as thyroid problems. I’m just scared to continue it because I’m afraid I might just gain weight again. I’m already at my highest which is 147 pounds and I’m only 155cm. Honestly though I would love to continue and restart the guide all over again. I just need to check my health first before I get started. Your progress is fantastic though. Congratulations. I hope the same can happen for me. Eating a healthy diet is always the hard part for me. I never know what I should eat and I’m always running out of ideas. Would you recommend eating sandwiches for lunch? If I have more questions, will you be able to help me through your blog or email? Have a nice day! I look forward to seeing more of your posts in the future. This could motivate me. ♥

I’m in the process of making a recipe book, and you’ll be able to see all my recipes and find ideas for your daily meals! Good luck on ur second round, you can do this! If u have any questions please email me 🙂

  8. Hi, amazing transformation! Just really WOW! U said u follow the HELP guidelines. Do u mean the whole 6 servings of grain, 5 vegetables and so forth? If u do follow how well did u follow the exact servings of the food groups specially right in the beginning? Im just a bit confused with the groups, like doesnt egg and salmon fall into the fat group too? Im a pescetarian but im worried with the amount of salmon and tuna and eggs i eat in place of other protein that it will add up to too much fat? What do u think? Thanx for all the information u have already given. Appreciate it!

    Like

    1. Hi! I don’t follow the servings to the letter too much either. I just think, “Ok, I’ve had half an avocado today. That’s enough” or “i’ve already had too much diary today, no more!” but i don’t really think about it too much! These are healthy fats we’re talking about! So as long as you’re burning it all off with a good workout you should be fine!

  9. Greetings from Minnesota! I just wanted to let you know how lovely your blog, progress and personality are 🙂 I have a very similar body type to you and am on week 4, round 1 of the BBG and was starting to feel a bit discouraged with my slow progress. It’s so great to hear the story behind the results as a lot of times people are so quick to be unkind to themselves for not achieving what others are able to. Your blog brings a great dose of reality to your progress and I think you are a fantastic, body positivity promoting woman! Ciao xo

  11. Hey Nats,
I’ve had Kayla’s programme for a while but didn’t start it. Basically ive just been kidding myself… I used to be a fitness instructor, I played netball which was my life about 5 times a week plus the gym… I knew what I was doing. But then I went to London to start teaching, got a bf (who used to be a chef! BIG mistake!!) and I just didn’t have the time or energy whilst in my first year of teaching. Plus drank heavily on a Friday and hung all sat- kinda like you described!
So basically I’m the biggest ive ever been (just going over the weight I swore I never would!) depressed 😦
I saw your progress on Kayla’s Instagram and followed on to yours and your blog and it’s so inspiring! You have made such an incredible transformation. I always felt like many of Kayla’s army were already much thinner than me naturally and actually they all looked great to me so I wasn’t sure it was for me.
I’ve got Kayla’s prgramme out again and I’m going to start it as think I’m so down with how I look ive got to stop kidding myself and stick to something! Your pics are so inspiring because I can relate to your before pics more than anyone else’s and how you are now is what I would love to be!
Well done for your success and transformation. I’m hoping I can make half the transformation! Thanks for the blog too it’s great! Xx

  12. Hey Nats,

Your blog and Instagram are so inspiring! The transformation is incredible!
I’m on a massive downer at the moment as I have dipped over the top weight I promised myself I’d never go over… I moved to London just over a year ago to start a new job as a teacher so stopped playing netball 5 times a week and did next to nothing expect binge eat and drink over the weekend! 😦 gutting!
I’m at the point now that I’m going to stop kidding myself and stick to Kayla’s programme. I’ve had it for ages but today was the day!
I did the legs and cardio and arms and abs and really enjoyed it. I am already pretty active (cycle to work and back 3 times a week=liss and I’m training for a triathlon and play netball competitively) I’m just not the toned shape I want to be.
Your legs look great now! That’s the main transformation I want so it’s good to see you made it as I can relate to your previous body type the most. I’ve always been fit and strong but I’ve always been described as “powerful” “athletic”! Which used to make me really sad! I want to be more slender and toned instead of having these ‘big, powerful thighs’!!!
Sorry to go on, it’s just your pics and blog are the ones that have said I can do it! So thank you! Wish me luck!! Xx

  14. Hola!

  15. You look AMAZING! This might be a little long but…when I first saw your pictures, and your progress doing BBG, I was SO excited, because you were the first person I’d seen who has a body shape similar to my own. I would see all these girls who had different trouble spots than I did having amazing success with BBG, and worry that it wouldn’t happen for me because I’m built differently. I’ve been on a fitness quest since a few years ago — I gained a lot of weight at the beginning of college, and it took me a long time to figure out what works for my body and get back down to my pre-college weight. I’ve maintained that weight for around two years now, so that’s no longer my issue, but I feel like my body is kind of…lazy. So when I saw your pictures, I decided to start Kayla, to see if I could get myself as fit as possible. It seems like my legs/hips/butt always just sort of coast and never get in great shape, and I want to change that. I’m on week 7 of BBG1, and love how much stronger I’m feeling. I love my body, I really learned to appreciate it in the past few years, but I’m feeling a little disheartened because it seems like my legs respond so slowly to new workouts. But you are so tiny these days! I mean, you look incredible, and it seems like your legs responded right away. I’m a lot taller than you, but I have my fingers crossed that I will see results like you did. Do you have any other tips to tone and tighten my thighs and butt? I just want everything to pull in. I need my muscle to burn the rest of this fat, dammit haha! I’m taking pictures, but it’s hard to see changed in your own body — when I look at other people’s pictures, I see all the little changes, but I’m so biased when I look at my own that it’s like I can barely see the changes for what they are.
Sooooo I basically wanted to say that you have directly been my inspiration and motivation while doing BBG, and now I hope I can get to be as tiny and toned as you! Have a wonderful day, and thanks in advance for any tips you can think of 🙂 You’re killin it, girl.

    1. Hi! Thanks for your comment! You’re awesome!
Don’t be so hard on yourself. I say this all the time, but every body is different. I lost a lot of weight in my legs because that’s where I was storing all my alcohol fat haha but seriously, it takes time! I had a looot of fat to lose that’s why I lost it so fast. But seeing my progress from week 12 to week 24 I could tell that there’s a small but significant change! I’ve been hard on myself, thinking I was at a plateau. But no! I was just too focused on looking a certain way, and didn’t realise I had already come a long way! So don’t be discouraged. It takes time. My body is constantly changing! I might think I’m at the end of the road but there’s always some change that can be made, and it takes time and patience to finally make these changes. BE PATIENT! I’m sure you’re rocking it anyway! Good luck.

Bbg gave so many people such good results and maaayybee I am going to do it too? But I am not sure yet 😛. I have some questions about it: Do u have to workout everyday? How many does it costs in euros? Is the help guide included then? I hope you’ll answer this haha 🙂 x Lisa

When did you start to notice progress on your legs? Or could you notice progress everywhere from the start? I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. Thank you!

  22. Hey girl,
Im about to start bbg next week but my main concern is that I wanna lose fat. Do you think it’s a better idea to do strictly cardio for a few months so I can be skinnier and then tone up from bbg or should I just go ahead and start bbg and lose weight from that?

  23. Hi, I am so inspired by your progress pics! I did 6 weeks of BBG and felt like I was beginning to see a difference, but I fell off the wagon and months later I am finally getting back into it.

I’m sure you’ve answered this before, but I was wondering if you just followed the BBG workouts or if you added things in? I sometimes get discouraged partway through a workout feeling it isn’t enough (even though I know my six week stint helped me a bit before).

I also read that you don’t follow a perfectly healthy meal plan… That really brings me some relief! Although I try to eat healthy, it can be hard and some days I mess up.. Which makes me feel so guilty! Guess I’ve got to learn not to beat myself up over the small things 🙂

  24. Hey Nati, I saw a few comments back that you said something about stretch marks. I have been using castor oil for mine, and it is a slow progress, but really works great! Just apply plain castor oil to your stretch marks, especially at night (so you don’t ruin all your clothes) and put plastic wrap over them and keep it on all night. During the day I like to apply vitamin E oil to my skin because it keeps my skin moisturized and doesn’t ruin my clothes. Castor oil also helps with any kind of scaring (acne scars too). Hope this helped!

I have to ask though, when you did “round 2” did you just start weeks 1-12 all over again? I see people saying how they did multiple rounds but was curious as to how that works, because going back to week 1 after completing week 12 seems like it would be too easy.

    1. Hi Emma! It seriously NEVER gets easier haha i’ve done BBG maaany times and the workouts are always challenging! Now with the app, you can continue on to the next weeks after week 12, but back when I first did it, there were only the guides, so i’d do them again and again and still see amazing results!
